Not a very motivated day

I tried going for a run today and it didn't really work. Its hard to be motivated when I have you here with me and you are not motivated either. We were supposed to run in the morning and you sent me a text that said we should sleep in. Of course, I jumped all over that one! And then when I got off work, we were supposed to run and we didn't cause you were sleeping. Tomorrow is supposed to be a long run. I hope we can do it and finish it! 9 miles!! I know we can. We are starting at 9am so hopefully it won't be hot. I wish I was motivated again to run!

First part of my workout for the day

I pretty much warmed up with 2 miles in the morning before my workout. I didn't really feel like running and my body was pretty tired so I knew I wouldn't really make it. After the two miles(which was mainly running but some walking), I went the the Rock(after talking to my wonderful boyfriend) and did:

3 sets of:

20 sit-ups
20 side crunches(10 on each side)
20 bicep curls
10 tricep pushes? pulls? whatever the exercise is when you put it behind your head :)
10 shoulder raises
15 squats

It went pretty quickly and it was nice to get back in the gym!

I am going to run again after the JCF for hopefully 5 miles :)

Also, I cramped up a lot during the run, I'm not sure why, hopefully later's run will be better :)

Today was supposed to be a rest day for me since I did my longer run yesterday! So I didn't run, but I did like a 20 minute swimming workout.

Tomorrow I'm planning on running at Notre Dame and going to the gym for a little while! :)

Back on the trails once more!

Hello darling,

It's nice to be on the blog once more :) I ran about 3.5 miles this morning around 10 AM at the country club on Lady's Island. I felt pretty good and it was nice to have my new iPod shuffle to listen to while running. It'll be even better when I can talk to my beautiful girlfriend! I've got CrossFit this afternoon with Ciaran after his CC practice.

I don't even know what my total mileage is anymore. I'm sorry I did poorly at that, my love.

Phew I did it

I went running today and it felt really good :) I wasn't really into it, but I made myself do it and by the end I was glad I ran! Did you know there is a water fountain around St. Joe's lake?? I had no idea, but I saw a man using it today! Its by the swimming area! That makes me so happy!!! They should put one around St. Mary's Lake too!!! I wonder if I could write to someone about it and suggest it!? They could put it by the retired priests' home!

Anyway, 8 miles down! I don't have to run any long runs by myself anymore :) :)

I'm making muffins right now so I can have something sweet as a reward :)

I love you and I can't wait to talk to you soon!
